FAQ

If we were sitting face-to-face, chatting in your office or having a coffee, you might have some questions. Let me try to answer a few of them here.

Q: What are your qualifications as a copywriter?

My writing ability is strengthened with a combination of soft skills and technical skills. As a graduate of a technical engineering and a communications program as well as many specialized B2B and other writing courses through the American Writers and Artists Inc., I have advanced training in copywriting, technical writing, and B2B writing. I have written, revised and collaborated on many documents — as well as created a few websites — and I’m sure I can help you with your project!

Q. What kind of services do you offer?

A.  I specialize in the types of writing needed to increase your revenue. These documents are usually a part of your sales funnel – case studies, White papers, etc. I am flexible so if there is something you need, but you don’t see it on the list, please reach out to me and I’ll be glad to see how I can help you.

Q. What does the process look like?

A. I will send you a Discovery Questionnaire to get things started. Once you return the Questionnaire, I will draw out a Project Map. Then we can begin setting time-oriented goals. The Project Map clarifies my understanding of your vision, what success looks like to you, and it helps to keep us on course.

Q. How long will it take you to write my copy?

A. I like to have 2 to 4 weeks to complete a copywriting assignment. That gives me time to edit, revise, and polish the document until we’re both happy with every word.

However, I realize there may be circumstances where you can’t wait that long. So if the job’s a rush, please indicate the date by which you must receive the copy. Due to prior commitments, I may not be able to take on an urgent assignment. However, if I take the job, I will guarantee that you’ll have the copy on your desk by the deadline.

Q. What does it cost to hire you for a Project?

A. This will depend upon the size and scope of the project. Often, clients benefit most with a package of services. See the Professional Services and Fee Schedule tab for more information.

Q. What happens if we want you to revise the copy?

A. Revisions are planned for in the process I have created for your success. You can read about my process under, “How I Work with You”. The process allows for a standard revision process.

Q. What experiences make you the most qualified?

A. My own professional journey has allowed me to develop my writing skills and has forged drive, persistence, and determination into my character. My education, life experiences, and work history have acquainted me with many types of people. I have worked in many industries, with many types of people and have always had an excellent rapport with everyone.
